We went to Utah for the weekend. It was pretty fun. At least I got to drive myself and didn't get carsick. We went to my grandparents home in Springville, Utah. We didn't really do much of anything, but we mostly went up there to take my sister (and her stuff) to my grandparents home as she is going to BYU. We also went and saw the house my parents bought there. It's pretty nice, except for the horrid yellow paint on the living room walls. My mom likes it though.

Sunday, we had to leave early and drive to Logandale for a missionary farewell for Logan, my stepbrother. Well, on the way down, I saw so many beautiful hawks and golden eagles. There was even a large nest in a pole along side of the road where a golden eagle was perched on top. That was awesome. We also spotted a bighorn sheep ewe in the gorge, which is in between Utah and Arizona. I got to see a bunch of my dad's family at the farewell, which was nice.

I had to take my mom to airport yesterday morning because she had to fly out to San Diego, CA to go to a specialist for her back injury. Opposing council (the female attorney for the insurance agency) wanted her to go to their specialist to make sure that what the other doctors were saying was correct. The doctor told my mom that she was an "emergency" patient because they are about to go into mediation and they needed to get the exam quick. The doctor checked her over and confirmed the legitimacy of her case and told her that her painful migraines were probably caused by the impact she received to her head when the truck rolled. She hasn't had a CAT scan yet, but I think she should. It may even strengthen her claim.

Anyway, I bought Eldest and I'm only a few chapters into it. It picks up right where Eragon left off.
